The largest bin size in our skip bin range, the 12 cubic metre skip bin is as big as they come. As the biggest of our skip bin sizes, the 12m skip offers a staggering amount of space for your waste.
This is our most exclusive bin size and it is used for certain projects as it can only hold specific waste and materials. Because of its exclusivity, this bin isn’t available to hire through our online booking form and needs to be requested with our team directly with an order over the phone.

Dimensions of the 12m skip bin
An exclusive member of our collection, the 12m skip is our biggest bin. Although it’s not part of our standard range and it is bigger than the regular collection found on our website.
The dimensions are as follows:
- Volume: 12 cubic metres
- Length: 4.6 metres
- Width: 1.63 metres
- Height: 1.85 metres
In total, this bin size can hold approximately 12 standard car trailer loads of rubbish.
Waste types a 12m skip bin is available in
The reason the 12 cubic metre skip is so exclusive is because it isn’t like our normal range. Due to the large capacity, it cannot be completely filled with heavy materials as this would make it challenging to transport.
The 12m bin can only be half full with heavy materials, e.g., dirt, brick etc. The other half will need to be filled with light materials, such as timber, gyprock or carpet. This means this size is suitable for fewer waste types than our second biggest bin, the 10m cubic metre skip bin.
In accordance with the weight restrictions, General Waste and Mixed Building Waste types where half the load is heavy and the rest is lighter are available to hire. If you are unsure whether your waste situation is eligible for the 12m bin, please contact our team to discuss this further.
It is important to note that the same rules apply to our 12m bin and certain materials are not permitted. This includes paints, liquids, chemicals and other hazardous substances. Situations the 12m skip bin is suited for
Interested in hiring the 12m skip? As mentioned earlier, this bin needs to be strictly filled with half-heavy and half-light materials, which can limit the waste scenarios it can be used for. However, this large size can still be handy for many situations where you need a massive waste solution.
Great for light demo work, such as shop fit-outs and renovations, the 12m bin can be incredibly handy, especially where there is a mix of light gyprock with heavy bricks. It can also be well suited for clean-outs in both domestic and commercial settings where there is a variety of heavy and light materials.
