One of the most significant price indicators will be the skip bin size you want to hire. At Matt’s Skip Bins, we have 7 skip bin sizes to select from. There are various sizes to choose from our small 2m skip through to our 10 cubic metre skip bin.
Just like ordering a fast-food combo, a smaller size will be more affordable than a larger one. That is why you will notice our small bins don’t cost as much as our medium or larger collections. Our largest containers provide more space and room, hence having a more expensive price tag.
Although, if you are interested in a larger bin, it is handy to note while the price tag is initially more, it actually works out cheaper! As the skip sizes increase, it gets cheaper per cubic metre.
Particular content and additional materials
Skip bins are a great way to get rid of your unwanted waste. However, there are cases when certain materials can be more complicated to get rid of.
Upon request, we cater to mattresses, car tyres and truck tyres, but we do ask that you add this to your skip order in advance. Due to the waste requirements for these items, an additional fee will incur. This will ultimately impact your hire cost.
The hire location
Another factor that will change the overall price of your hire is the location your hire is at. While our team drops off and picks up skip bins across Western Sydney, some regions are a little further than others, requiring an additional cost.
Suburbs and areas further out require more planning, travel time and petrol to ensure you can get your reliable waste solution promptly. That is why if you hire the same bin at two different locations far apart, you will notice a slight difference in costs depending on where the locations are. While it isn’t a massive price difference, we want to be straight up!
If you place your order with the waste type and any extras you need into your additional order, the price you see is the price you get! The only time a fee will change during hire is if something happens on-site that wasn’t advised upon the initial booking, i.e., the skip is loaded with a different waste. So, if you stick to the original order, you won’t have to worry about any additional prices you might find with another competitor.
